- Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cusco.

HALF DAY - TOUR OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES OF CHINCHERO

- Upon arrival you will head to Chinchero. Continue to the PARWA Center, where you can appreciate beautiful textiles and even buy some to take home.

- Afterwards, visit the Church of Chinchero, which was built by the Spanish in 1607 and remains standing until today.

- Continue with the visit to the Chinchero ruins, where you will find an important Inca center in which terraces and aqueducts were built.

Day 3

Sacred Valley

FULL DAY MARAS, MORAY, MISMINAY WITH LUNCH

- You will leave the Sacred Valley to visit the salt mines of Maras, where the finest salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt.

- Then, you will visit Moray, a fascinating archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit its huge concentric terraces, which the Incas used as a botanical laboratory.

- Afterwards, you will visit the Misminay community, where you will be received in a very special way by its inhabitants. Engage in some of the activities available in the community, which help improve the environment and lifestyle of Misminay families.

- At the end, you will enjoy an exquisite lunch prepared by the members of the community with local ingredients.

Day 4

Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes

- Transfer to Ollantaytambo station for Machu Picchu by Vistadome Train.

- The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo.

- The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will, without a doubt, be one of your most unforgettable experiences.

- At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Then head back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch in a local restaurant.

Day 5

Cusco

HALF DAY - CITY TOUR OF CUSCO / TOUR OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

- You will visit the city of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

- You will start your tour at the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day.

- Then, you will visit the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. Continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture.

- Afterwards, you will visit Kenko, an archaeological site where the Sun, Moon and Stars were celebrated. Continue with a visit to Puca-Pucara, place that would have served as "tambo" or resting place and lodging of the Inca.

- Finally, you will visit the art workshop Inka's Expression, where you will appreciate a sample of the various uses of Peruvian natural products (plants, fruits, vegetables, among others) and will know their nutritional, healing and cosmetic properties.

MAGIC CUSCO BY NIGHT AND DINNER

- Have a different Cuzco experience, touring the city at night. You begin at the San Cristobal lookout point, high above the city, for an exceptional panoramic view. Back on the street level, you will visit the neighborhood of San Blas, where Cuzco’s finest artisans live and work.

- This night time adventure offers you a unique perspective of the city and the ancient stone work of the Incas, highlighted in supreme examples of workmanship like the 12-angle stone.

- You will then direct your steps to the Museum of Pre-Colombian Art, its facilities are built on Incan foundations and its exhibits shine light on the best variety of our ancient Pre-Hispanic legacy.

- You will end this evening with dinner at one of the top restaurants in town.

Day 6

Cusco, Puerto Maldonado

Transfer to airport for flight to Puerto Maldonado.

INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZONICA

- You will be picked up and welcomed in Puerto Maldonado and from the first moment you will feel the spell of the jungle, taking a boat tide for 45 minutes up the Madre de Dios River to the Inkaterra Amazon Reserve.

- After a brief presentation you will enjoy a nice lunch with ingredients from the region, followed by time for a nap and a nice tea while meeting with your guide to discuss and choose your excursions during your stay.

- On the first day the recommendation is to take a guided walk through the rainforest on the trail network that surrounds the lodge. Here you will discover the beauty, complexity and fragility of the ecosystem and will have the opportunity to bird watch and encounter some exotic insects.

- For the first night the recommendation is a night river excursion, where you will witness the transformation from the daytime world to the nighttime world. Birds and other daytime animals begin to settle down for the night and give way to the species specially adapted for nocturnal life.

- While you are enjoying nature around you, be alert for the appearance of nightjars, owls, capybaras and large caimans.

- Later you will enjoy dinner served in the main dining room and you can head back to your cabin early or join a talk about the experience of living in the jungle while listening to the intriguing nocturnal sounds of the jungle.

Day 7

Puerto Maldonado, Cusco

- During the morning you can take an excursion to Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata National Reserve. Paddle in a wooden canoe on the lake, home to many endangered species, such as the Giant River Otter, Red Howler Monkeys, Red-bellied Macaw, anacondas and the Yellow-spotted Sideneck Turtle.

- Head back to Inkaterra Amazon Reserve for lunch.

- In the afternoon the recommendation is to visit the Inkaterra Canopy, a 29 meters tall observation tower where you can see many species that live in the high canopy of the forest.

- Next you can take the Anaconda Hike, where you will walk for 30 minutes along 200 meters of wooden bridges over the marsh, looking for anacondas.

**If you wish, you can extend the excursion to watch the sunset in one of the canopy towers.**

- Once back at the lodge you will have the opportunity to see a nature presentation in the Eco Center, followed by dinner.

Day 8

Puerto Maldonado

- Explore the jungle for an hour and a half, following the Gamitana Ravine, home to piranhas, caimans, turtles and birds, until arriving to Sanipanga.

- Float on the river and enjoy the abundant flora and fauna of the tropical jungle. Visit Gamitana, a model ranch of the Amazon.

- Return to Inkaterra Amazon Reserve for lunch.

- After lunch, you will go on an excursion to Hacienda Concepción, with the possibility to see more than 200 different species of plants and learn about their uses and benefits.

- Next, take a 30-minute canoe ride to look for turtles, nightjars and exotic herons. Your excursion continues into the night with a night walk on the Ecological Reserve trail network around the lodge.

- You will enter the secondary forest and experience the mystery of animal activity that awakens in the jungle at sunset. Listen to the nocturnal sounds of the forest and discover species that only emerge in the darkness of the night.

- Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 9

Puerto Maldonado, Lima

- Enjoy a 45-minute boat ride on the Madre de Dios River, back to Puerto Maldonado where you will visit the Butterfly House. Peru has the largest variety of butterflies in the world, with 3,700 known species.

- Then take your flight to Lima.

- Upon arrival, you will be assisted and transferred to your tour in Lima.

FULL DAY CITY TOUR (COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA) WITH MAGIC WATER

- Upon arrival you will visit to the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima the "City of Kings", starting in the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro.

- The road passes a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean.

- The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents.

- At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board your departing flight.
