Day 2

Sunday, March 11, 2018: Lima, Cusco

After a buffet breakfast, private transfer to the airport.

Upon arrival in Cusco, private transfer to your hotel located in the Sacred Valley.

Overnight – Tambo Del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort and Spa - deluxe room

Day 3

Monday, March 12, 2018: Cusco

Buffet breakfast

Full Day PISAC MARKET + OLLANTAYTAMBO (private): You start off early this morning and travel to the town of Pisac, on the way you will visit Awanakancha, a store where you will find Peruvian Handicrafts and a variety of fauna; after this you will visit Pisac Market, which is quite captivating. After completing this leg of the journey, you will be taken to Ollantaytambo, an Incan military, religious, and agricultural center located at the top of a mountain. From the perspective of the archaeological site, you will look down upon the town of the same name and see its incredibly narrow streets and canals that have not changed since the Incas constructed them. Lunch is included.

Day 4

Tuesday, March 13, 2018: Cusco

Buffet breakfast

Full Day MACHU PICCHU WITH VISTADOME TRAIN (private): Awaiting you today is by far and away one of the high points in world tourism: Machu Picchu. Your adventure starts on a train ride to the city of Aguas Calientes, where you will disembark and then board a bus that drives you to the actual Machu Picchu archaeological site, where you will definitely have an experience you will never forget. You will discover this new Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site; afterwards, there is some free time for you to explore the site on your own, to relax or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant and, later on, rest on your hotel.

Day 5

Wednesday, March 14, 2018: Cusco

Enjoy the morning at your leisure to explore on your own.

In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco, and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6

Thursday, March 15, 2018: Cusco

Buffet breakfast

After breakfast, you will have a half day city tour.

You will visit the Imperial City, a living example of the mixture between Andean and Spanish cultures. You will start the tour in the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and main worship site for the Sun God. Then, you will visit the Main Square, where you’ll take a tour of the Cathedral. You will make a stop at the San Cristobal Viewpoint, from where you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the city. You will continue over to the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, an awe-inspiring feat of Incan military architecture that reigns over the city. Then, you will visit the Kenko archeological site and the panoramic view of the Puca-Pucara archeological complex. Finally, you will stop by the Inka’s Expression art workshop, which introduces you to artists working with silver, paint and wood; the perfect visit to further understand Andean art.

In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
