Package Overview

Cuba - the largest island in the Caribbean - is located just 90 miles south of Florida. This package will allow you to visit the Northern and Southern Beaches with all the unique sites and historical points in between ending with a remarkable tour in Havana. You will leave Cuba knowing you have seen the best beaches in the world, remarkable landmarks and a history not experienced by the US tourist since 1959.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Santa Clara and transfer to Villa. (The distance is approximately 1 ½ hours).

Accommodations will be All-Inclusive 5*, located on the beach near the First Stone road over the sea built in Cuba, called the Pedraplen.

The Pedraplen is 11 miles long and took 16 months to build using 3 million cubic meters of stone. The road is over Perro Bay and unites Jardines del Rey with Ciego Avila province

Day 3

Cayo Santa Maria – Santa Clara – Trinidad (Sancti Spiritus province)

Depart from the hotel at 9:00 am for Trinidad via Santa Clara. On the way, we will visit the Che Guevara Memorial and the Tren Blindado. Continuing on our journey to Trinidad, you will also visit the Iznaga tower. Lunch included at the Restaurant Manaca Iznaga. After lunch, we will visit Trinidad and the Valley de los Ingenios. Founded in the early 16th century in honor of the Holy Trinity, the city was a bridgehead for the conquest of the American continent. Its 18th- and 19th-century buildings, such as the Palacio Brunet and the Palacio Cantero, were built in its days of prosperity from the sugar trade. On arrival to the town of Trinidad, we will visit La Canchanchara Bar, where the original version of the daiquiri made with rum, lime juice and honey is still the daiquiri of choice. We will also visit the Main Plaza Mayor and casa de la Trova before arriving to the Hotel Brisas Trinidad Del Mar in Trindad.

Day 5

Trinidad – Cienfuegos – Cienaga de Zapata - Varadero

Check out and depart from the hotel at 8:30 a.m. for Varadero vía the Cienfuegos province. We will take a panoramic city tour, visiting the Palacio de Valle, the Teatro Terry, continuing on to visit the Giron Beach, the Museum, and the Crocodile farm nursery, with lunch at Punta Perdiz. Arrive to the Hotel Iberoestar in the Matanzas province in Varadero mid afternoon.

Day 7

Varadero – Havana

Check out by 12.00 p.m. to transfer to Havana, after an early lunch at the hotel. We will make a stop on the way at the Bacunayagua Bridge linking the coastal resort region of Varadero with Havana. Lo-cated on a small hill, "El Mirador" (The Lookout) gives visitors the chance to enjoy, in all its magnitude, the Bacunayagua Bridge, which marks the traditional border between the provinces of Matanzas and Havana, both in western Cuba. According to experts, the bridge, which is listed among Cuba's seven wonders of civil engineering of all times, is 110 meters high and was built between 1956 and 1960. Arrive in Havana and check into the Hotel Havana. In the evening, you will experience a dinner show at the Havana Café .

Day 8

Havana Colonial City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for a walk through Old Havana to learn firsthand about the recent restorations and the historical importance of many of its glorious buildings, many dating back to Colonial times. There are four major squares in Havana, which you will visit: Plaza Vieja, Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza de Armas and Plaza San Francisco. Enjoy a light lunch at the El Patio Restaurant. Later that evening, you will experience Havana's famous traditional Cannon Firing Ceremony with dinner included.

Day 9

Hemingway Route

Depart your hotel at 9:00 a.m. for a day of touring beautiful Havana. We will begin with a panoramic tour of modern Havana and its amazing waterfront walkway, El Malecon. We will visit the historical Revolution Square, Colon Cemetery and the Avenue of the Presidents, one of the most beautiful avenues in Havana. We will also make a visit to Fifth Avenue, where many foreign embassies are located. After lunch at a Paladar, we will continue on to Las Terrazas de Cojimar, the fisherman’s bar that Ernest Hemingway wrote about in The Old Man and the Sea, to enjoy a “Don Gregorio” cocktail. Then we will see Finca Vigia, Hemingways Cuba house. In the evening, we will visit the world famous nightclub, the Tropicana Cabaret. You will enjoy watching the glittering spectacle at this beautiful outdoor theater known as “Paradise under the Stars.”

Day 10

Today we will visit Havana to learn more about tobacco and rum. We will depart at 8:30 a.m. for a visit to a tobacco factory and then a visit to La Casa del Habano in Miramar, a wonderful cigar shop and must-see for any cigar aficionado. Next, we will tour the Havana Club Museum of Rum, located in the historic district of Old Havana. This museum offers an up-close look into the rum-making process and a taste of Cuban culture. Lunch at the Palenque de los Cimarrones.

Day 11

Flight Havana to Miami

After your last breakfast at the hotel, your driver and Cuban guide will transfer you to the Havana Airport, where you'll board your flight back to USA.
